RAM PROMASTER
159” Wheelbase
Ready for anything, this build has rear bench seating for day mode that converts to queen size bed at night. Custom paint job, hardwood rooftop deck with shower, and, of course, the Mango Van inside hammock!
Our clients who have brought us their ProMaster 159s are mostly looking for a reasonably-priced van with low miles that is easy to drive and plenty of room for a nice, comfortable build out.
This is a good option for folks looking for a “stealth’ setup, since a white ProMaster is such a common choice for commercial vans, it is very easy to blend in on any street.
In this video here, we repainted the plain white metal with a nice desert sand colored paint by Monstaliner than gives it a lot more durability, plus just looks very cool. We also built a roof deck of ipe, also sometimes called Brazilian Walnut, a hardwood that can be left outdoors in the elements untreated like teak, and is certified sustainably harvested.
RAM PROMASTER
136” Wheelbase
The ProMaster 1500 136” wheel base offer the reliability and comfort of the 159 in a more compact frame. Sleek and simple, for this project, we used the Japanese technique of Shou Sugi Ban, then whitewashed the pine tongue and groove for a unique interior. An even smaller space than vans typically used for camper conversions required some creative problem solving for storage, that still left the final product bright and clean, the video for this build is here.
SPRINTER
170” Wheelbase
This is the ultimate full-time liveaboard build. Four-season home on the road with diesel heater and rooftop air conditioner powered by 550Ah Lithionics battery and auxiliary alternator. Huge galley kitchen with convection oven and dual zone Dometic fridge. Our very own Mango Shower hidden inside kitchen counter. Loads of storage in wall cabinets and under bed garage with slide out tray.
RAM PROMASTER
